This project is located in Paonia, CO and is currently under construction. It's a remodel of a 1950's ranch style home. The owners wanted to update the house in a contemporary style while keeping sustainability in mind. Eco-friendly features include; Cork and Marmoleum flooring, Natural Clay on select interior walls and Recycled Plastic Countertops in the Kitchen and Baths. Upper clerstory windows were added to increase natural light and ventalation. The footprint of the building was only altered slightly. Interior walls were reconfigured to make better use of the space and to meet the owners needs. A Mudroom and Yoga Room were added and the Master Bedroom and Bathroom were enlarged.
